Details: Pumpernickel is one of Babs Bakery half dozen and was part of a rabbit explosion situation RRR and other rescues have worked diligently to get under control. Rabbit explosions are different than hoarding situations. These happen when two rabbits are brought home and the genders are misidentified (typically by pet shops) and the opposite sex buns are kept together unknowingly, even for a few minutes. They can reproduce at alarming rates and females can even get pregnant again immediately after having their babies!
Pumpernickel is not quite ready to leave mom (Babs) and when ready, will need to be separated from the litter and then spayed/neutered once old enough.
